What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
